Our client is an established multi-disciplinary engineering firm has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Transportation Design Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA. Specifically, we are looking for a versatile professional with excellent analytical skills who can maintain accountability and exercise professional judgement. The right candidate should be comfortable working on a variety of transportation roadway projects within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Experience:

• 3 - 7 years of experience as a roadway design engineer.
• Experience designing corridors, assemblies, surfaces, alignments and profiles for roadway design.
• Experience with LADOTD drainage software
• Experience with analysis of transportation systems, corridors and intersections for state and local agencies.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Louisiana [Preferred]
• Certification in LA DOTD Traffic Engineering Process and Report (preferred)

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
