Our Client has an immediate opening for a mid-career licensed Civil|Environmental Project Engineer with an advanced understanding of water treatment / distribution and wastewater collection / treatment principles and state regulations to join a collaborative design team in the execution of rewarding water/wastewater treatment design and municipal/public works projects.

In this role you will develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects, including water/waste/stormwater pumping and conveyance systems. More specific responsibilities include performing or managing engineering/process design, hydraulics, and pumping systems.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited college
2. Minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in the municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field of engineering is preferred
3. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana (or the ability to gain registration through reciprocity).
4. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated project experience in the following areas:

• Hydraulic modeling of surface and subsurface drainage systems.
• Design of water distribution and sanitary sewer systems.
• Pump station design/rehabilitation
• Sewer rehabilitation and replacement
• Roadway restoration and utility relocation/offsets
• Preparation of constructions documents, including design drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies
• Project management and maintaining client satisfaction
• Public participation
