Our client is a very stable, privately held entity owning a diversified portfolio of companies that manufacture, operate, and market/distribute specialty products to domestic and international customers. This includes crude oil refining and marketing to produce & sell finished products for niche clients. The company has an appetite to secure an accomplished Site Services leader for one of its refineries.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

• Provide daily oversight, technical guidance, leadership to ensure compliance/continuous improvement related to EHSS
• Work closely with operations to troubleshoot & resolve plant process upsets prioritizing safety & manufacturing optimization
• Maintain a high level of awareness to optimize product quality within safety, environmental, health, and budget parameters
• Balance day-to-day site technical requirements with company-wide commercial initiatives
• Lead, direct, develop, & train a team of direct reports

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering with advanced degree (MS or MBA) viewed as plus
• 6 years’+ experience working in refining industry
• Experience diversification in process safety, organizational performance, site safety/security, incident investigation/reporting
• Expertise in OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO 9001/14001, regulatory & compliance for refinery operations
• Promote/practice a culture of quality & continuous improvement
• Proven leader with excellent team skills, interpersonal attributes to fit within company culture
