    Our client is looking for an inquisitive and curious influencer that will help identify, analyze merits and coordinate the implementation/ execution of new business opportunities that contribute to the long-term success of the company.

    Your Role With The Company:

    • · Report directly to the CFO.
    • · Work closely with various departments including Operations, Finance, Accounting, Crude Supply Sales and Marketing and Legal.
    • · Be abreast of latest macroeconomic, process and technology advancement within the refining industry.
    • · Identify new business opportunities that fit within company’s long-term goals.
    • · Conduct preliminary conceptual analysis of merits of each opportunity.
    • · Coordinate with appropriate stakeholder departments resources needed to scope each opportunity.
    • · Develop business plans that address risk benefit tradeoffs, financial benefits, implementation timing and potential outside services requirements.
    • Manage progress of various opportunities and report progress to executive management on a timely basis.
    • · Provide management oversight of new business venture during start-up and incubation phase of development

    Ideal Candidate Background Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field. MBA degree, preferred.
    • Experience in developing Business Cases and presenting to executive team.
    • Three to five years’ Refining or Oil/Gas related experience preferred.
    • High degree of financial competence and ability to operate independently.
    • Expert Excel modeling and Power Point skills
