    Our client, a private 30+ years in business company that specializes in providing engineering and construction services primarily to the onshore U.S. pipeline industry has retained our firm to find their next National Sales Mgr.. The company is growing, and interestingly had one of their best years ever in 2020 despite the economic/COVID downturn and is uniquely positioned to have steady work over time due to their focus on maintenance and pipeline integrity specialty services which are mandated by FERC.

    The position is key for the company to drive growth of new client sales, complimenting their very successful district/regional client office sales efforts, by introducing their company/proven services to key accounts located in corporate headquarter or large district offices in Houston and other major energy hub cities in North America. In addition to not being micro managed, the company is offering a very competitive salary plus generous commission schedule and full benefits package. Their corporate culture is one of the best we've seen and as a result their people feel appreciated/included in decision making which has resulted in excellent longevity/low turnover. This position will report directly to the President of the company.

    The National Sales Manager will, in conjunction with the President and several direct report regional sales managers pursue, identify and introduce the company to key accounts/managers at corporate levels typically housed in either asset integrity or capital project departments at national or regional pipeline, midstream and operating companies with pipeline operations. The National Sales Mgr. will, in conjunction with the President and CEO of the company be responsible for continuing development of the company's social media marketing strategy.

    Keys/Qualifications for Success Include:

    • Minimum 10+ years total experience with 3-5+ years' exp. in Sales/Marketing pipeline services to Houston and related energy cities Decision makers in the maintenance/asset integrity and capital project groups of pipeline operating companies.
    • Energy/enthusiasm to grow the company-make a significant positive impact to the people/company
    • Prefer Houston based candidates or those within close proximity to Houston with the ability to spend a minimum of 1-2 weeks/month with Houston clients
    • Exp. as Sales Mgr., Director or de-facto Sales Leader
    • Team focused-servant leadership attitude
    • Bachelors or higher degree preferred
    • Experience with Salesforce or Similar CRM Software-especially integrating into construction/production ops.
    • Experience with and embracing of business social media marketing tools/campaigns/analytics
    • 25-50% of time  will be spent identifying and cultivating targeted new clients, including travel to regional areas in the U.S. to directly approach these clients
    • Occasionally help existing direct report regional reps/managers develop business or participate in key projects
    • Prefer experience in civil pipeline construction and or asset integrity maintenance projects
    • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
