Our client is privately held owning a diversified portfolio of companies that manufacture, operate, and market/distribute specialty products to domestic and international customers. This includes crude oil refining and marketing to produce and sell finished products for niche clients and fuel. The company has an appetite to secure an accomplished Process Engineering Supervisor for one of its refineries.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

• Managing a team of 4 -5 process engineers
• Provide daily oversight and technical guidance to monitor & maintain plant operations
• Work closely with operations to troubleshoot & resolve plant process upsets
• Maintain a high level of awareness to optimize product quality within safety, environmental, health, and budget parameters
• Balance day-to-day site technical requirements with company-wide commercial initiatives

Qualifications:

• BS in Chemical Engineering with advanced degree (MS or MBA) viewed as plus
• 6 years experience working in a refinery
• Experience diversification in process, projects, turnarounds, maintenance viewed as plus
• Demonstrated hands-on process engineering & control schemes expertise
• Proven leader with excellent team skills, interpersonal attributes to fit within company culture
• Senior Process Engineers ready for career advancement to management role will receive close consideration
