    About the Role:

    Aquila is seeking a OneStream Developer  to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The OneStream Developer to support, configure, and enhance our OneStream Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting solution. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, designing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with finance, accounting, and Information Services teams to ensure seamless integration and reporting capabilities within the organization.

    There are a few requirements for the position:

    Must be a U.S Citizen- Authorized to Work in the US - (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)

    Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance.

    Key Responsibilities:
    OneStream Development & Configuration:

    • Design, develop, and configure OneStream XF applications to support budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Develop and maintain OneStream Dashboards, Cube Views, Business Rules, Workflows, Data Sources, and Extensible Documents.
    • Monitor data integrations with ERP systems, data warehouses, and other financial applications.
    • Build and optimize custom business rules, calculations, and scripts to improve performance and automation.
    • Design and maintain OneStream XF Marketplace solutions for enhanced functionality.
    Must Have
    • 2 years - Data/Reporting
    • 2 years - Real-time data integration
    • Degree Level - Bachelor's Degree
    • 2 years - Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes
    • 2 years - Program/Project Management OR Analysis
    • 2 years - Translates Business Requirements into Technical Specifications
    • 2 years - Programming
    • 2 years - Develop financial reports, KPIs and analytics dashboards
    • 2 years - SQL scripting, query optimization, and database design
    • 2 years - Software
    • 2 years - Design, develop and configure OneStream applications
    • 2 years - Develop and maintain OneStream Dashboards, Cube Views, Business Rules, Workflows, etc
    • 2 years - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)

    System Support & Maintenance:

    • Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, user errors, and performance bottlenecks.
    • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and Information Services teams to continuously improve system processes.
    • Maintain and manage OneStream upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with Information Services teams.
    • Financial Planning & Reporting Support:
    • Assist finance teams in designing and optimizing budgeting and forecasting models.
    • Develop financial reports, KPIs, and analytics dashboards to provide actionable insights.
    • Automate manual data entry and consolidation processes to improve efficiency.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial statements, variance analyses, and scenario modeling reports.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience with OneStream XF
    • Strong expertise in OneStream Application Development, including Business Rules (VB.NET), Cube Views, Workflows, and Dashboards.
    • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
    • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and data integration tools.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and financial data structures.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
    • EPM tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, or Adaptive Insights
    • VB.NET development experience
    • Experience with OneStream Marketplace solutions.
    • Knowledge of financial consolidations and close processes.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based financial planning tools and data analytics.

    This position will be a one year contract. Extension will be dependent on workload etc

     

    Location: This position can be 100% remote ; person must be open to working East Coast hours (with some flexibility)
    Clearance Level: Interim clearance is ok to start
