ABOUT THE JOB

We're looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. This position will primarily involve designing and architecting OneStream XF Cloud Services. If you enjoy staying on the cutting edge of technology and automating infrastructure deployments, then this is the job for you. This vital role within Cloud Services requires knowledge and experience designing, implementing, and monitoring scalable and secure cloud services. The employee will be expected to work well in a small team and willing to share responsibilities with other team members as needed. He or she will interact with internal staff, managers, and customers to implement and maintain IT operations. A passion for technology and learning, and the ability to grow others are vital for success in this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop and implement scalable and secure Cloud Services architecture
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process improvement, and architecture improvements
• Collaborate to define best practices and standards around public cloud services and platforms
• Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders to determine cloud service strategy and future improvements
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Update technical documentation, workflows, and knowledge base articles

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer environment implementation and software configuration
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties.
• Monitor customer environments through Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics or Splunk
• Support internal infrastructure projects as needed

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

FORMAL EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

• BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or technology-related field (or equivalent work experience)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years network engineering and infrastructure experience
• Architecting and automated provisioning (IaC, Terraform, ARM Templates), configuration management for infrastructure and applications.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef/Puppet, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
• Deep understanding of cloud concepts including elasticity, security, and identity management
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the following technologies, tools, and concepts:
• Automating processes using PowerShell, CLI, RST APIs, ARM Templates or other scripting languages.
• Source control tools such as SVN, Git, BitBucket, TFS, Azure DevOps, Jira and Agile Methodologies
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, GKS
• Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud (GCP)
• Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working for a cloud service provider (CSP) or managed service provider (MSP)
• Working knowledge of identity management systems and protocols (Azure AD, Okta, OpenID Connect, SAML)
• Any certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate(AZ-103, AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert(AZ-300, AZ-301), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert(AZ-400), Azure Security Engineer(Az-500); Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA Security+/Network+ is a plus.
