The Challenge We're looking for a talented and passionate entry-level JAVA DEVELOPER, to join a geographically distributed agile product team. Java Developers are responsible for new software application development and integration work, including modification and optimization of code with a focus on performance.

Your Mission

• Design, develop and unit test applications deployed to MS Azure and assist with cloud application architecture using Core Java, REST, and the Spring ecosystem
• Develop test cases to be executed during development 
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint retrospectives, and sprint demos
• Ensure adherence to best development practices – Coding Standards, Unit Tests, Design Principles
• Stay current on modern software development best practices, emerging technologies, and design patterns and contribute to thought leadership efforts

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
• 1 year of work or internship experience in full software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of Core Java, REST, and the Spring ecosystem, familiarity with Spring Boot or Spring Cloud
• Database Knowledge (SQL)
• Knowledge of Agile development (Scrum or XP Programming)
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) using modern technologies

Extra Awesome

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
• Experience with cloud application development (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services)
