Private Duty Caregiver for Quadriplegic Patient
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable nursing student or recent graduate to provide care for a 30-year-old quadriplegic patient. Training will be provided. Responsibilities: - Assisting the patient with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and transferring. - Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team. - Monitoring the patient's vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. - Providing emotional support and companionship to the patient. - Assisting with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Requirements: - Must be a nursing student or recent graduate from an accredited nursing program. - Experience working with patients with physical disabilities a plus, but training will be provided. - Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Working Hours: The hours are flexible, and the working hours will be determined based on the patient's needs. The caregiver will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
