    What's the position?

    MOBILE SOFTWARE ENGINEER.

    You'll be among the first engineers in the company, working closely with a passionate team of scientists, engineers, and designers to develop beautiful iOS and/or Android mobile apps that will be used to make measurable improvements to people's lives. You'll be responsible for developing new features, fixing bugs, and making performance optimizations for our mobile products.

    So who are you?

    You're passionate about making a positive impact on global health. You love to work closely with designers to develop mockups for new features. You love iterating, re-factoring and improving your code. You can't stand bugs and performance issues. You understand the value of thoroughly testing and documenting your code.

    At a minimum, you meet the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
    • Demonstrable experience in writing quality software for mobile applications (iOS or Android)
    • Fluency in one or more of the following programming languages: Objective C, Swift, Java, Kotlin
    • Familiarity with one or more of the following tools and technologies: git, XCode, Android Studio

    In addition, the following is a big plus:

    • Demonstrable experience in shipping quality mobile applications (iOS or Android), particularly related to health and wellness.
    • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working with remote teams
    • Experience working in an early-stage startup or equivalent environment
    • Portfolio or GitHub account of past projects, including personal hobbies
    • Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: Javascript, Python

    WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
