Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a creative and talented Front-End Developer to help build effective pages & applications for our e-commerce site. In this role, you will be working closely with our existing front-end web development team and our back-end software development team to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

We are looking for a candidate who can create a highly dynamic web experience from start to finish. This will involve working closely with designers to translate their vision into functional and visually appealing web pages and features. You will also be responsible for optimizing web pages for maximum performance and responsiveness across a range of devices.

Pay: $55,000-60,000/year salaried based on experience

Hybrid based role. This will be shared work in our office in Sanford, FL and remote at home to preform work duties.

Job Description & Duties:

• Develop & Maintain Ecommerce Website
  • Translate design mockups and concepts into functional pages and components using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and Javascript/Vue/React
  • Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices
  • Maintain existing features and fix bugs on the website
  • Use Git to correctly version changes to the codebase
• Collaborate with Internal Teams to Implement Features & Projects
  • Participate in planning and developing Marketing initiatives and customer tools
  • Support Marketing efforts (SEO, Paid Ads, Content)
  • Work with Backend Programmers to implement features on the website
• Analyze & Quantify Website Features
  • Use Google Lighthouse and Google Search Console to monitor key web metrics

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Proficient at Javascript and Javascript MVC Frameworks (Vue / React)
• Experience in optimizing Javascript for page speed and client-side performance
• Experience in writing cross-browser compatible code (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
• Experience in planning and building responsive sites compatible across all devices
• Familiarity with using API endpoints on the client side
• Familiarity with Javascript build tools (Webpack / Gulp)
• Familiarity with the concepts of version control (Git / Azure Devops)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Intermediate writing skills

Nice-to_Have:

• Basic familiarity with ,NET/ .NET Core environments
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization
• Experience developing for e-commerce sites
• Experience collaborating on Agile/SCRUM Teams
• Experience with Project Management Software (Asana, Jira, Monday)
• Familiarity with Figma, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
