Pay: $65,000 – 70,000/year (depends on experience)

Other qualifications include:

• Professional education/experience in Instructional Design, Online Education or related field, 3-5 years. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Industry experience in Real Estate, Mortgage or Education
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience with course creation and online delivery software
• Ability to learn and use the company’s proprietary learning management system
• Basic HTML skills and video editing skills
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Programming knowledge preferred ·
• Positive and solution-oriented
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive manner
• Excellent work ethic and proven ability to be punctual
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be able to attend in-person meetings in Beaverton on occasion.

Position Overview: The Online Course Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining online courses that will be sold to the public or used by private companies in private course catalogs. This requires interacting with course authors, internal company employees, external company administrators, and regulatory agencies. The candidate will be expected to learn the company’s proprietary learning management system to accomplish these tasks. This position reports to the School and Administrative Director.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Converting research material from a variety of formats into online courses
• Editing coursework and performing quality control of course content
• Researching and summarizing government rules and regulations pertaining to online education and corresponding with government agencies
• Assisting in maintaining information in the product catalog
• Communicating effectively with Customer Service on issues that will impact customers
• Frequent use of a PC, copy machine, printer, scanner, office phone and other, relevant technology required to perform the duties of the position.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
