SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the Human Resources department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides day-to-day direction in all aspects of human resources, including supervision of Human Resources Generalists.
- Develops and implements HR elements for field operations.
- Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource files and records.
- Reporting workers’ compensation claims to WC insurance carrier in a timely manner and constantly communicating with WC claim adjusters, employees and supervisors related to claim status update.
- Investigating and resolving workplace complaints in a timely manner.
- Reviewing and entering employee data into computer database.
- Ensuring all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR Department.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which include health and retirement plan providers.
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records.
- Answering frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to company policies, benefits, hiring and background check process, etc.; referring more complex questions to senior-level HR management.
- Supporting, scheduling, coordinating HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA in human resources, international relations or other business-related field or an equivalent amount of experience and training.
- At least two years of human resource experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
