    Onsite Bilingual General Maintenance Technician

    Position Type: Full-time

    RDE Capital Group, LLC, a leading commercial real estate brokerage in Dallas, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented bilingual general maintenance technician to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will perform maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair.

    The selected candidate must demonstrate to be a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly, adhering to all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

    Responsibilities Conduct daily general upkeep procedures (e.g.. Portering, cleaning debris from the dumpster area, common areas, breezeways, and laundry area, as assigned by the property manager.

    Inspect buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean circuit breaker panels, etc.) Assist in the setting up of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs as necessary (e.g., fixing locks, replacing windows, etc.). Undertakes activities of pest control, such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping, portering) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)

    Skills Proven experience as a maintenance technician

    Basic understanding of electrical and other systems

    Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

    Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices

    Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

    Good physical condition and strength to lift weights to 70 lbs.

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    A certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field will be a plus.

    Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)

    Bilingual - must speak fluently, write, and read English and Spanish.
