    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Computer Support Specialist provides technical support for employees. Responsibilities include assigning, installing, maintaining, and configuring computer hardware and software and ensuring the security of networks and systems. This role also provides guidance to users regarding operation of equipment, network administration, and troubleshooting user support issues.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

    2+ years experience providing basic computer support or training to youth and/or adults

    Knowledge of PC hardware and software configurations, troubleshooting and maintenance

    Experience installing, troubleshooting, and managing Microsoft products

    Experience troubleshooting email related issues

    Configuration, management, and troubleshooting skills for routers, switches, and firewalls

    Ability to multitask in order to complete responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.

    Ability to recognize IT issues and opportunities and determine the appropriate action required

    Ability to use time effectively and efficiently

    Knowledge of network infrastructure standards

    Experience working with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)

    ULMS Total Compensation – Temporary Employees

    PTO accrued at 0.07361 per hour worked
