POSITION DESCRIPTION

Onsite Neonatal Partners invites you to join our practice as a Newborn Hospitalist at one of our partner hospital locations. You will be working for Onsite at St. Luke's University Health Network in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania providing daytime in-hospital coverage, with no on-call commitment. St Luke's is the leading choice for women in the region for childbirth. As a leading academic center, our team also helps train residents and medical students. Our Pediatricians are an integral part of our neonatal care team, working alongside our Neonatologists, who are in-house 24/7. At St. Luke's, you will work in a collaborative environment that empowers you to use your passion and skills. You will see patients in the well-newborn nursery and attend low-risk deliveries, mainly at the Anderson campus with infrequent coverage at the Allentown campus. Hospitalists are also required to perform circumcisions; Neonatologists will train new team members.

Onsite Neonatal Partners is engaged with four of their network campuses: St. Luke's Allentown Campus. St. Luke's Anderson Campus, St. Luke's Upper Bucks Campus, and St. Luke's University Hospital—Bethlehem.  Because the Lehigh Valley is strategically located in the center of many major northeastern cities, it has become a popular place of residence in the region. The Lehigh Valley hosts a historic downtown district, professional sport teams, wonderful restaurants and shopping, the Sands Casino, and other entertainment. The Lehigh Valley is within a convenient driving distance to New York City, Philadelphia and Lancaster County.
