    We are looking for a Bookkeeper with extensive QuickBooks experience to join our team. This position is part-time at 20+ hours per week. This position will be partially remote. We do require someone to come into the office twice a week. Our office is located in Warminster, PA.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure bookkeeping entries related to business payments and payroll functions are properly updated in QuickBooks.
    • Manage inbound and outbound accounting documentation. Record accounting transactions related to accounts payable and receivables in QuickBooks. Manage and pay bills due.
    • Book daily cash receipts, process client invoice payments, manage petty cash, load payroll and benefits data and update other miscellaneous journal entries into QuickBooks.
    • Process vendor payments. Check credit card statements. Flag and reconcile exceptions.
    • Assist in regulatory/ business compliance filings like W-9 & 1099 forms, 1094 & 1095 reports etc. 
    • Provide periodic reports and financial statements to the management team. Prepare sundry other ad-hoc reports on demand.
    • Provide administrative support. Support on special projects like data analysis and audits.
    • Work with our benefits provider and our payroll provider to ensure proper processing.

     

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED

    • 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant with extensive hands on experience in transactional accounting.
    • Hands on experience in QuickBooks accounting software and proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
    • Thorough understanding of GAAP standards and monthly closing processes.
    • Attention to detail and organized analytical approach. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. 
    • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
    • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • High motivation and ethical standards. 
    • Academic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent field. May be offset by relevant experience in comparable role.

     

    PREFERRED

    • Audit experience a plus.
