We are currently seeking a Part-time Classroom Assistant for the afternoons to join our team! The shift for this position is 1pm to 6pm. Job Duties include but are not limited to:

Provide assistance in classrooms as outlined in the Daily Schedule

Remain flexible in classroom assignments in order to maintain the safety of all students

Assist staff with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.

Assists with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities

Provide breaks and lunches for classroom teachers

Assist in keeping all appropriate records such as naps, feeding, potty, attendance, name to face, weekly kudos, daily notes, classroom attendance and time sheets on Brightwheel

Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy

Qualifications

No experience necessary! We will provide extensive on-the-job training. Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area with 6 credits in Early Childhood

CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification

Proof of TB Test, and TDAP, 2 Doses of MMR and immunizations

Proof of Covid vaccination

Physical

Obtain new Food Handlers Training Certificate

1+ years of experience in an early childhood environment

Must meet and follow all additional City and State licensing requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - 17.00 per hour
