    Open Systems Technologies is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team of experts to assist with building state of the art data platforms for the Department of Defense's premier data analytics platform.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable web applications using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
    • Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of the applications.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development.

    Requirements:

    • Clearance: Secret
    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and SQL databases.
    • Strong understanding of web development concepts and principles.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
    • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledgeable of JavaScript built-in data structures and standard methods, JavaScript promises, async, and await, JavaScript closures and scope, Control flow and iteration, and React Hooks and state management.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience with DoD Financial Management Applications.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Local to the DC Metro area and able to go onsite as needed to Crystal City, VA.
