  • Responsibilities

    Develop OEM quotes including labor and overhead rates, variances, administrative charges and financial analysis for all new products. Analyze the cost to manufacture including material, labor, overheads, tooling and equipment for all new products Manage costing process with purchasing, manufacturing, and product engineering. Adhere to stated deadlines for development of accurate pricing and preparation of final quote package for Tenneco management review. Help to build cost structure by (OE) customer, platform, and category. Participate on NPIS and product launch teams. Analyze the impact of all method and design changes (ECR's). Complete special projects requiring cost studies or sensitivity analysis. Maintain active role in VA/VE activities. Align with cost analysis to prepare the AOP cost structure Help controller to build up company cost module by platform, category, customer etc.

    Required Skills

    In depth knowledge of Cost Accounting methods and procedures.  Working knowledge of personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office.  Understanding of Mainframe applications (SAP) a plus.  Understanding of customer platform programs and negotiating strategies.  Ability to derive cost estimates utilizing blueprints.  Must have strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be able to effectively deliver presentations as well respond to questions from groups including managers, customers, and general public

    Required Experience

    Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Finance) with 5 years costing / pricing experience to include manufacturing process development and demonstrated success in above duties.
