This role is responsible for leading a team focused on developing strategic and innovative analytic concepts and methods and conducting breakthrough research to support new product development, enhance the value of existing products, and support new business development and client satisfaction. The incumbent is a scientific thought leader for Health Dialog and as such, in conjunction with other Health Dialog thought leaders, represents the company from a research and science perspective within client, industry, and academic settings.
Accountabilities and Activities:
Leading a team of analysts focused on executing multiple simultaneous analytic development or research projects, including:
Building breakthrough approaches to understanding population health opportunities through analytics by developing:
Developing measurement and outcomes assessment methods, including:
Performing rigorous research (where feasible, in collaboration with external academic and/or business partners) using highly credible methods to:
Developing and overseeing the overall analytic roadmap and working with the other executives and teams to identify future investments in analytic capability
Developing and overseeing the publication of Health Dialog’s research findings, including peer-reviewed publications and poster/presentation submissions to academic and industry conferences
Publishing, as appropriate, white papers and other marketing material supporting Health Dialog’s analytic assets
Supporting the development of new products, services, and product concepts that apply and deploy analytic capabilities
Providing senior-level strategic direction, guidance and support on multiple simultaneous analytic development and research projects; the staffing of which may include direct reports and staff from other parts of the company
Working with executives and senior leaders throughout the company (Rite Aid, Envision RX and RediClinic) on strategic and tactical decisions related to the direction of R&D and Health Dialog’s product development, marketing, sales, and client management efforts
Summarize and draw essential insights from research and present concise summaries for internal and external audiences. Present these findings both in writing and orally to both internal and external audiences
Participate in business development activities as a critical representative of Health Dialog’s scientific and analytic approaches and research and analytic development activities.
