    Opening Baker / Packer - Flour Breadquarters - 19 Dry Dock Ave, Boston

    Flour Bakery + Cafe is looking for a full-time Opening Baker + Packer at our production kitchen in the Seaport! Shift times for this position are generally 2am - 10am. The current position opening requires the schedule of Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesday/Thursdays off.

    The Opening baker + packer will be responsible for packing morning pastries, packing bread, muffin scooping, cookie dough scooping, croissant rolling, making glazes, and other miscellaneous production tasks, including quality control and preparation of products for transportation.

    Skills for Qualification:

    Maintain the Flour standard of quality (MOM test) for all items produced

    Maintain the organization and sanitation standards of the Flour kitchen

    Ensure that your station and work areas are clean, tidy and properly set up for the next day before leaving the premises

    Experience in a professional kitchen is preferred

    Availability to work holidays and weekends

    Ability to lift up to 60lbs regularly

    The shift is very physically active, you are constantly on your feet and moving through the kitchen.

    Compensation:

    The starting wage for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour ($20 per hour + a shared percentage of the sales known as the BOH appreciation, which on average adds around $1 - $2 per hour). The starting pay rate for this position is $20.00, but the total pay range is $20.00- $30.58.
