If you love Italian Ice and enjoy working in a fun, fast-pace environment then Rita's Ice - Wyndmoor is the store for you! Our store is re-opening on February 21, 2025 and we are hiring part-time employees. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that is looking for a fun, flexible and rewarding part-time position and to be part of a great team! A complete and comprehensive training program is provided. Additional guest tips average $5.00 per hour and a bonus will be provided with working this position through the end of the season. Our season concludes at the end of October.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will posses excellent customer service skills and be available to work opening shifts (9:30 AM - 3:30 PM) starting in February with a minimum of 4 days a week. Applicants should be energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, responsible, enjoy interacting with guests and work well with others to maintain a team environment. Days are flexible but applicants should have regular availability. Additional shifts are available and include midday, weekends and evening closings.

The position requires constant standing, bending and some manual labor. Candidate must have the ability to lift and/or carry at least 30 lbs of weight. Basic math skills are necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to...

• Adhering to and enforcing all policy and procedures regarding daily cleaning duties, proper uniforms, staff protocol and store opening/closing procedures
• Producing, maintaining and tracking all Italian Ice on a daily basis
• Preparing our signature treats properly and efficiently, providing treat suggestions and upselling
• Supervising fellow treat team members in storefront responsibilities such as customer service, store cleanliness and maintaining the Italian ice
• Assisting with the coordination of the store marketing, catering, fundraising and social media groups
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well stocked store
