Account Executive Job Description

Operation Finance dba OperFi is a young and fast-growing company in the transportation finance space. We are veteran owned and veteran friendly.

We are looking for a competent Account Executive to monitor, service, and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation of our customer base. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and thrive working independently but also contributing to the greater team mission. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

The Account Executive monitors the quality of a book of transportation factoring clients to minimize credit losses while increasing the term and profitability of the client/factoring relationship.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and assess the client’s needs.
• Manage and maintain relationships with factoring clients.
• Organize documentation and prepare client invoices as needed.
• Approve daily advances.
• Monitor collateral quality and collateral trends.
• Collaborate with inter departments on issues that arise with your book of clients.
• Manage problem accounts or workouts as needed.
• Handle other duties as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred.
• Experience:
  • ·2-4 years in a Customer Service position, Transportation & Logistics, Factoring or commercial finance environment preferred.

SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
