    About the Role:

    This role will be responsible for management of a wide range of company facilities management as well as administrative support for the BoxPower team. This position will be a bit of a “jack of all trades” This role reports to the Procurement Manager. The salary range for this role is $22-$30/hour + equity depending on experience and extended responsibilities. This role requires relocation to the BoxPower HQ in Grass Valley, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    Facilities

    • Manage tools needs & organization for Production

    • Building and facilities management:

    • Coordination with building vendors and landlord

    • Manage shop and office repairs

    • Identify and manage shop and office improvements, redesigns, and new processes

    • Manage BoxPower visitor schedule communicate to team, meet visitors when available or coordinate greeter

    • Monthly fire extinguisher checks

    • Maintenance and restocking of office supplies

    • Receiving and unloading/loading of merchandise that arrives/departs the warehouse

    • Checking mail and scanning necessary documents to People Ops Manager

    • Coordinate metal recycle pickups

    • Manager trash, normal recycling, and hazardous waste disposal

    Inventory Management

    • Assist Supply Chain & Procurement Manager in getting optimal pricing on equipment needs

    • Coordinate, Receive, Inspect, & Capture equipment delivered:

      • Sign and file shipping documents
      • Capture serial numbers
      • Capture and share any product defects
      • Manage RMAs and other returns
      • Manage Asset Registry (Serial Numbers + Warranty) Information:
      • Collect and store warranty information for cross departmental referencing
      • Update serial and firmware numbers in Bill of Materials (BOMs)
      • Keep equipment organized and palletized per project
      • Create packing lists and pack equipment shipping separate from container
      • Keep inventory bins stocked and organized
      • Cycle counting (2 to 4 times year)
      • Periodically perform walkthroughs to confirm and update as-builts on BOMs
      • Coordinating receivals at auxiliary locations and manage inventory

    Administration

    • Assist People Ops Manager with onboarding and ordering equipment for new staff.

    • Assist in planning of office events.

    • Maintain software licenses and subscription lists

    Skills and Qualifications :

    • 3+ years of experience in a professional office setting

    • Excellent organizational skill

    • Experience with Excel (Slack, ClickUp, and NetSuite as a plus)

    • Proven abilities to facilitate excellent communication between teams

    • Forklift Operation a plus
