    The Mustard Seed Project of the Key Peninsula (hereafter referred to as TMSP) is a non-profit, community-based corporation dedicated to building an elder friendly Key Peninsula.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Operations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and administrative support to our employees, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls and greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, and writing correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

    Responsibilities include: Greeting clients and visitors at the Front Desk. Responding to inquiries via phone and email. Maintaining the master calendar. Assisting with designing and creating graphics. Assisting with maintaining accurate and timely information on the TMSP website and all social media. Assisting with KP News ads. Assisting with collation of monthly statistics for reports. Assisting with researching and writing reports Assisting with planning, preparation, set-up and execution of fundraising and community events as directed by the Office Manager or Chief Operating Officer (COO). Assist with any other projects or activities outlined and requested as part of the regular activities of TMSP by the Office Manager or COO Awareness and compliance with HIPPA

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred

    Previous experience as an Office Coordinator or in a similar position

    Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles

    Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines

    Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects

    Great customer service skills
