    Job Title: Operations Assistant

    Reports To: Director of Operations and Accounting

    Location: On-Site, Cheektowaga

    Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 4:30pm

    Salary: $17 - $19 Per Hour (depending on experience)

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Assistant to provide essential support across our inventory management, purchasing, and retail operations functions. This role is central to maintaining smooth day-to-day processes, ensuring accurate stock control, timely procurement, and responsive support to store teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor, track, and reconcile inventory across multiple locations to ensure optimal stock levels

    • Execute and coordinate purchasing activities, including sourcing, order placement, vendor follow-up, and invoice reconciliation

    • Support store teams by addressing operational needs, resolving issues, and facilitating timely communication across departments

    • Assist in maintaining accurate operational documentation including SOPs, process logs, and reporting tools

    • Participate in audits and inventory counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies

    • Collaborate with logistics and retail staff to ensure timely receiving, transfers, and distribution

    • Provide ad hoc support to the broader operations team on special projects and seasonal initiatives

    • Additional duties as assigned by manager

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Associated degree and/or combination of experience.

    • 2+ years in an operational or administrative support role, preferably with inventory or purchasing responsibilities

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration

    • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities

    • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a deadline-driven setting

    Preferred Attributes:

    • Retail or multi-site operations experience

    • Basic understanding of supply chain logistics or warehouse procedures
