Operations Coordinator- After Sales POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide customer service to Pester USA, Inc. customers in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico and to Pester employees. Position reports to Assistant Operations Manager- After Sales. Position is located in Huntersville, NC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Additional Duties may be assigned
Prepare format and machine modification quotes- project based
Track all related information
Communicating with customers (internal and external) related to project status
Enter sales orders as purchase orders come in
Order from Pester Germany and/or other approved vendors as needed
Track orders and shipments
Work closely with sales and service departments in preparing and sending sample shipments to Germany when needed
Liaise with pester Germany team 2 of BU Customer Service
Travel to customer sites when needed (25% minimum monthly goal)
Sell Spareparts packages to customers (Commission based)
Aid in helping counterpart(s) when they are out of office.
Interface with Field Service on project based needs
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High school and/or technical school and/or bachelor’s degree
Proficient computer skills
Knowledge of Microsoft office
Knowledge of German and/or Spanish language is a plus, but not required
Knowledge of Quick books/ SAP is a plus, but not required
Basic understanding of SAP is a plus, but not required
Knowledge of various carrier programs (UPS, FedEx) for domestic and international shipping is a plus, but not required
Ability to work independently
Ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to Multi-task
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is an office environment with a noise level that is usually quiet
Ability to perform those physical activities required for the essential functions of the position including, but not limited to, continual sitting, regular walking and ability to be mobile, frequent keyboarding, continual talking and hearing in person and over the phone, continual seeing, and all other physical activities as needed in the performance of the essential functions of the job
Must be able to carry and/or lift up to 80lbs or more at a time
Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
May need to run company errands or assist in shipments when critical deadlines are involved
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
Internal contact with Service Department, Sales and Pester (USA and Germany) office staff. External contact with customers.
