Operations & Field Communications Coordinator BLVD Electric Inc. — Southern California / San Diego

About the Role

BLVD Electric Inc. is seeking an organized, proactive Operations & Field Communications Coordinator to support crew scheduling, manpower planning, material deliveries, and equipment logistics. This role connects our office and field teams, keeping employees, foremen, project managers, and leadership informed as project needs and schedules change.

Responsibilities

Maintain daily and weekly manpower schedules across multiple active projects

Confirm employee assignments, jobsite locations, start times, supervisors, and work schedules

Track employee availability, call-outs, transfers, and staffing needs; communicate changes promptly

Coordinate material deliveries, pickups, jobsite access, and tracking of electrical materials and long-lead items

Schedule equipment rentals and track delivery dates, extensions, transfers, and returns

Coordinate company vehicles, drivers, tools, and shared equipment

Follow up with vendors regarding pricing, availability, backorders, and delivery schedules

Maintain scheduling and logistics trackers, participate in coordination meetings, and report shortages, delays, and urgent field needs

Support project mobilization, demobilization, and improvements to scheduling and communication procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in construction scheduling, dispatching, logistics, project coordination, purchasing, or field operations

Electrical-contractor, construction, or skilled-trades experience strongly preferred

Experience coordinating crews, materials, vendors, or equipment across multiple projects

Understanding of construction schedules and jobsite operations; familiarity with electrical materials preferred

Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheets; Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar software experience preferred

Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred

Degree in Construction Management, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred but not required

Pay

$25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on construction experience, scheduling skills, and ability to independently coordinate manpower and logistics.
