    About Teeccino

Teeccino Caffe, Inc. is a small, fast-growing natural/organic brand of herbal teas and coffee alternatives, with 45 employees and operating a single SQF-certified manufacturing facility. We're a lean, hands-on team: leaders here build and run processes directly rather than overseeing multiple layers of management or optimizing systems that are already mature. This role suits someone who wants to be close to the production floor every day and is energized by the pace and resourcefulness of a growing, founder-led CPG company — not someone coming from a large multi-plant or multi-billion-dollar operation used to many teams underneath them.

    Summary

We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Operations & Administration to lead end-to-end manufacturing and operational excellence in our SQF-certified facility, while also owning the administrative backbone of the company — HR operations, facilities, IT systems, and general office administration. This is a dual-scope role for someone who is equally comfortable walking the production floor and managing the day-to-day systems that keep a small, growing company running smoothly. The candidate must be bilingual English/Spanish and a hands-on leader with manufacturing or general operations experience at a similarly sized company, deep knowledge of GMP regulatory compliance, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams with lean corporate infrastructure.

    Core Functions

    Operations & Manufacturing Leadership

Responsible for Operations function with management of Warehouse Manager, Production Planner, Production Supervisor, and Head Maintenance Mechanic

Partner with Supply Chain on inventory management and planning

Drive throughput, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), labor productivity, and on-time in-full (OTIF) performance

Collaborate with R&D and Production team to scale new products from pilot to full production

Lead capacity planning and capital projects (equipment, automation, facility renovation/expansion)

    Safety, Quality & Compliance

Manage and oversee our SQF Practitioner, who owns day-to-day SQF certification, HACCP program administration, and other compliance certifications including Organic, GFCO, and Kosher

Ensure company-wide awareness of and adherence to SQF and HACCP programs, including daily GMPs and policy compliance

Manage OSHA and workplace safety training program

Champion a strong food and workplace safety culture across all departments

    Planning and Inventory Optimization

Oversee schedule with Production Planner to meet demand with optimal efficiency

Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure raw material availability and inventory optimization while considering cash-flow impact and facility space constraints

Oversee inventory system through current ERP, Acctivate, and a future ERP implementation

    Continuous Improvement & Cost Management

Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to improve yield, reduce waste, and lower COGS

Establish KPIs and dashboards for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team morale

Own operational P&L performance in partnership with CFO

Identify and execute margin improvement initiatives

    People Leadership & Culture

Continual training and coaching to develop Production and Warehouse supervisors and team members

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and respect

Support workforce planning, training, and succession planning

Ensure strong labor relations and compliance with HR policies

    Administration & People Operations

Oversee the administration of HR company-wide in collaboration with the Chief Accountant: onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration liaison, employee handbook, and policy administration

Own company-wide timekeeping and attendance policy enforcement — including time card accuracy, PTO/sick day requests, and schedule adherence — ensuring hours worked and time off are properly logged and communicated to Accounting before approval

Manage general office administration and company-wide facility needs beyond the production floor (insurance renewals, general vendor, maintenance and service contracts)

Oversee Company IT systems and AI implementations

Act as a key point of contact for company-wide administrative policy and process questions

    Required Qualifications

7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or general management, ideally at a company with $20M–$75M in annual revenue

Manufacturing/CPG operations experience preferred; candidates with strong general operations and administrative management experience from other industries will also be considered given the dual scope of this role

Comfortable operating with lean corporate infrastructure and building processes from the ground up, rather than managing multiple layers of staff or optimizing already-mature systems

Experience with organic certification compliance and audits, or comparable regulatory/compliance experience

Strong knowledge of FDA/FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, food safety systems, and OSHA workplace safety compliance (or demonstrated ability to quickly build this expertise)

Experience leading multi-functional teams, including administrative/HR functions

Track record of driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and scalability

    Bilingual English/Spanish

    Preferred Experience

Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced, multi production line manufacturing environments

Experience with ERP and inventory management systems including advanced production planning, Excel expertise, and Microsoft Teams

Prior experience owning or co-owning HR administration, office administration, or IT vendor management at a small company

Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift as well as sit at a computer for extended times

Ability to bend, kneel, twist, climb, and reach in various directions

    Tolerance for a noisy environment
