    The Operations/Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the location including, but not limited to team members, janitorial, inventory needs, hiring for staff, etc.

    Position: Operations/Facility Lead

    Job Type: Full-time

    Location: FFC South Loop

    Compensation: $20 per hour

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    As a team member manager, you will assist with the opening and closing of the club

    Help retain and attain new members through club promotion and customer service excellence

    Responsible for staffing departments in housekeeping, maintenance, and key holding Prepare and assign working schedules. Keep time records and approve payroll. Maintain personnel files and evaluate employees at least on an annual basis

    Train housekeeping staff to maintain detailed cleanliness and photo-readiness of all aspects of the club through daily walk throughs and checklists

    Train key holders in completing their tasks effectively while ensuring the duties of the key holder position are met to the highest service standard and update responsibilities as necessary

    Ensure all equipment and mechanicals are working properly with the assistance of the maintenance team and vendors utilizing the equipment maintenance form to communicate progress on repair

    Attend special events and new member functions

    Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings including "all staff" meetings

    Maintain and purchase inventory of supplies. Recommend to the General Manager, necessary capital equipment and major repairs

    Handle project work from bid process, through completion within budget and to brand standard

    Establish relationships with fitness vendors and set standards for fitness equipment maintenance

    Responsible for formation of disaster (safety) committee and establishing plans for handling fire and other emergencies

    Prepare an annual budget in consultation with the General Manager and the Control expenditures in line with budget for housekeeping payroll; R&M associated and Supplies plus pool expenses and supplies

    Qualifications:

    Manual dexterity and physical strength

    Ability to take direction from ownership/management and assist in any special project

    Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members in order to promote high levels of customer service within the staff

    Ability to organize, administer and delegate work and authority

    Physical Requirements:

    Extended periods of standing/sitting during shift

    Ability to bend at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking etc., as job may require

    Noise level, at times, require normal hearing protection in the form of ear plugs

    Ability to climb ladders, this position may need to work at heights up to 30 feet

    This position will require use of ladders and a hydraulic lift

    There will be exposure with use to chemicals and cleaning solutions
