Growing, PE backed operator seeking an Operations Geologist to plan and execute horizontal wells to support a multi-rig drilling program.

Responsibilities:

• Well planning
• Liaise with geosteering teams to ensure optimal well placement
• Monitor drilling activity
• Geosteer horizontal wells

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Geology or related degree
• 3+ years of upstream experience
• Unconventional shale experience required
• StarSteer desirable
• Understanding of petrophysics, well logs, and geological interpretation
• Local Houston candidates highly preferred
