About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Senior Modernization & Operations Leader to join our growing team in the Myrtle Beach region. This is a field-oriented leadership role responsible for elevating execution across modernization, repair, and service operations — with a strong focus on team development, technical excellence, and project delivery.
This role will work closely with company leadership to drive technical performance, provide field mentorship, and lead by example on critical projects. It’s a great opportunity for a proven elevator professional ready to shape and grow a high-performing regional team.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead Project Execution: Serve as lead field technician on high-priority modernization and repair projects as needed.
· Team Mentorship & Development: Support and accelerate the learning curve of high-potential team members, including newly hired field leaders.
· Regional Field Support: Be a go-to resource for solving complex technical challenges across multiple territories.
· Standards & Best Practices: Promote high-quality workmanship and safety across all field operations.
· Operational Leadership: Work alongside company leadership to identify gaps, improve processes, and support long-term manpower planning.
· Training Leadership: Assist with in-field training on load tests, troubleshooting, annual inspections, and modernization best practices.
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience in the elevator industry (modernization, repair, and/or service)
· Ability to lead teams and train others on the job
· Strong troubleshooting skills — electrical, mechanical, and controls
· Willingness to be hands-on in the field when needed
· CET or QEI certification a plus (or willingness to pursue)
· High standards, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
