Operations Manager – MSP | B&L PC Solutions (Hauppauge, NY) Full-Time | On-Site | Competitive Salary + Benefits
About Us: B&L PC Solutions is a Long Island-based Managed Services Provider with over 25 years of experience delivering IT support, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, particularly in the financial, accounting, and professional services sectors. With offices in both New York and Florida, we are a growing team supporting 80+ clients and managing over 1,600 endpoints.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations, improve internal workflows, and drive accountability across service delivery, projects, and administrative processes. This is a strategic role designed to support the next phase of our growth.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the MSP, ensuring service teams, projects, and internal processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve SOPs across ticket triage, dispatch, procurement, time tracking, billing, onboarding/offboarding, and client communication.
Team Management & Oversight: Coordinate with help desk, NOC, project teams, and third-party vendors to ensure KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations are consistently met.
Client Coordination: Serve as an escalation point and liaison between clients and technical teams for high-priority issues or strategic account concerns.
Project Oversight: Manage timelines and resources for internal and client-facing projects. Monitor progress and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Reporting & Accountability: Generate and review reports from PSA/RMM systems (Autotask/Datto) to track technician utilization, ticket flow, project status, and client satisfaction.
Admin & HR Coordination: Support hiring, onboarding, vendor management, and compliance initiatives alongside leadership and HR partners.
Requirements:
3–7 years of experience in operations or service delivery management, preferably within a Managed Service Provider or IT services firm.
Strong understanding of MSP tools and workflows – experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, or similar platforms preferred.
Proven leadership, team coordination, and conflict resolution skills.
High attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to hold others accountable.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with tactical day-to-day management.
Located within commuting distance to Hauppauge, NY.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SentinelOne, Huntress, ThreatLocker, or Blackpoint.
Previous experience with multi-location MSPs or those expanding into new markets.
Knowledge of financial/accounting industry compliance or IT needs.
