Bridgemark, Inc., a nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking an experienced and highly accountable Program Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our 35-bed men’s residential substance use treatment program. This is a full-time leadership role ideal for someone with operational management experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care settings.
The Program Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the residential facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. This position supervises Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), counselors, and support staff, ensuring 24/7 staffing coverage, smooth client transitions, and consistent program structure.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Program Operations Manager serves as a key leader in maintaining a respectful, recovery-focused, and trauma-informed environment that prioritizes client care, staff accountability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all day-to-day operations of the 35-bed residential treatment program.
Develop and manage staffing schedules for 24/7 coverage, including holidays and weekends.
Supervise BHTs, counselors, and other staff, ensuring strong team communication, accountability, and documentation.
Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to align daily operations with therapeutic goals.
Maintain facility compliance with BHDDH regulations, agency policies, and health/safety standards.
Monitor and report on program census, occupancy trends, and reimbursement alignment.
Support client admissions, discharges, incident reporting, and emergency preparedness.
Oversee cleanliness, supplies, and facility maintenance in coordination with support teams.
Lead team meetings, training sessions, and staff performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, public health, counseling, social work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or operations management role.
Strong understanding of staff supervision, crisis management, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and operational systems.
Professional, emotionally mature, and objective with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Licensure (Not Required):
LCDP, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or related clinical credentials.
