Operations Manager – Commercial Construction

Step into a pivotal leadership role with a well-established, local and growing General Contractor with ~$10M in annual revenue is in search of a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager to help lead the company into its next phase of growth.

You’ll be a strategic partner to ownership, leading internal operations, overseeing project execution, strengthening financial performance, and guiding the company’s systems, team, and structure as they scale.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own day-to-day operations of the company, overseeing project managers, superintendents, and administrative support
• Partner directly with ownership on company strategy, financial planning, and long-term growth
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, tracking job cost performance, budgets, and profitability
• Standardize internal processes and systems to drive consistency across project delivery
• Provide oversight on estimating, contracts, procurement, and scheduling
• Represent the company in high-level client, vendor, and partner meetings
• Manage risk, ensure compliance, and help maintain a strong safety culture
• Build and mentor a high-performing team with a focus on communication, accountability, and execution

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years in commercial construction, with experience in both field and operational roles
• Proven track record leading teams, managing P&L, and implementing operational improvements
• Strategic thinker who can drive process, people, and performance
• Strong understanding of construction financials, contracts, and business operations
• Experience in modular construction is a plus
• Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment

Compensation: $120,000- $135,000 + Bonus
