    What We Look for in a Filta Operations Manager

    The Filta Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing service efficiency, managing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction, potentially across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of Filta’s services and customer needs.

    Key Attributes & Qualifications:

    Technical & Mechanical Knowledge – Familiarity with kitchen equipment, filtration systems, and service-related technology.

    Mechanical/Electrical Skills - Some knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools and multimeter.

    Customer Relations & Service Quality – Ensures that all customer interactions are positive and that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.

    Knowledge of Commercial Kitchens or Ability to Learn Quickly – Understands kitchen operations and Filta’s role in enhancing sustainability and efficiency.

    Leadership & Team Management – Ability to coach, mentor, and oversee service technicians and support staff.

    Operational Efficiency – Skilled in optimizing workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to enhance service delivery. Ability to utilize database management software or CRMs, Google Workspace, and mobile applications.

    Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Proactively addresses operational challenges and implements effective solutions.

    Safety & Compliance – Enforces strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Scheduling & Route Optimization: Manage and adjust service schedules, coordinate rerouting, and fill gaps in scheduling alongside the Service Manager/Apprentices.

    Financial Oversight: Maintain full financial transparency by monitoring key performance metrics, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving strategies to improve profitability.

    Hiring & Team Development: Lead the recruitment process in collaboration with the franchise owner, ensuring proper staffing to meet business needs.

    Sales & Growth: Support sales growth initiatives by working with the franchise owner to identify new opportunities, improve service efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

    Profitability Management: Analyze financial data and operational reports to optimize revenue and profitability, implementing strategies to improve overall business performance.

    Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency and service quality.

    Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all operational activities adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.

    Preferred Experience:

    Experience in maintaining and repairing small equipment i.e. kitchen equipment, filtration systems, and service-related technology

    Experience with managing customer relationships and exceeding customer expectations

    Experience working within commercial kitchen services

    Experience with working in a bilingual environment (Spanish and English)
