    JOB SUMMARY

    Overall responsibility for location operation which consists of a technical service center capable of performing life extension services, repair services as well as testing and certification of power distribution equipment. In addition, this position will be accountable for profit and loss for this branch which serves the aligned market.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in implementing the business plan for company’s financial growth targets.
    • Hire management and operational staff to fulfill business plan.
    • Oversee tactical and strategic operations in facility; ensure efficient and profitable daily operations.
    • Oversee and direct the local business operation which will include, but not limited to, the following:
      • Sales and customer service operations
      • Production management
      • Purchasing and receiving
      • Inventory management and control
      • Sales order process
      • Service shop operations
      • Shipping, transportation and logistics management
    • Manage the facility and its operations in compliance with local customs and laws; interact with the community, government, and external entities as necessary such as banks, insurance carriers, and lawyers in the interest of the operation
    • Ensure the prudent and efficient expenditure of company resources.
    • Motivate, train and develop employees as well as provide clear and concise expectations
    • Manage workforce consistent with best practices, issue and administer disciplinary action when necessary and ensure proper and timely documentation.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    METRICS

    • Adherence to profit and loss objectives measured through the financial statements and adherence to standard associated measures such as profit margins, expense ratios, etc.
    • To consistently meet monthly deadlines and objectives as agreed and typically described in weekly, monthly & quarterly reviews or through other project planning efforts
    • To handle ongoing projects and day-to-day demands that are not identified in formal quarterly objectives in a timely and accurate manner

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • All departmental management for the specific location’s operation will be direct reports to this position.

    **KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED **

    • Knowledge of and understanding of all aspects of business management and the interrelationship of sales & production.
    • Knowledge, understanding, and ability to identify and implement various business processes related to all business disciplines including international business management, marketing, sales management, customer service, operations management, financial management, and management of information and technology
    • Ability to identify, set up and formalize business processes and to provide appropriate management, supervision, and staffing to effectively carry out business goals.
    • Understanding of international business practices especially as they relate to operating a US subsidiary in your specific state; knowledge and understanding of currency exchange, import/export laws and processes, etc.
    • Understanding of financial concepts and ability to understand and interpret financial statements
    • Strong sales knowledge and aggressive sales mentality; ability to motivate and reach aggressive and specific sales targets, emphasis on building strong customer relationships.
    • Responsible for local CRM and ERP inputs and outputs.
    • Understanding of federal business and employment law as well as knowledge and understanding of state and local laws, rules, and customs as they relate to operating a business and hiring personnel
    • Understanding hiring and termination practices, administration, pay structure, etc.
    • Ability to easily understand, adapt to, and use computer systems and technology

    **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE **

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience as a Senior Manager, Managing Director, or Operational Manager/Director

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This job will require some level of hands-on involvement in doing whatever is necessary to grow and develop a relatively new operation into a mature, efficient and productive team. Ultimately, it will be more of a management and **** office job and entails the physical demands associated with walking around to observe operations, and operating a telephone and computer (viewing monitor, keyboard, mouse).

    Group CBS Management Bonus Plan, communicated separately.

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue.
    • Annual Reviews – A more detailed review of the overall performance in this position, where the employee is rated and typically compensated in accordance with that rate.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • The environment is a shop environment. Dress attire is as appropriate for the duties of the role.
