    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting an Operations Manager for a manufacturing company in Rochester, NY.

    Our client is a technology leader in the design, development and manufacturing of precision passive components. We are growing and looking for an Operations Manager to join our team to support the growing needs of our manufacturing operations.

    The Operations Manager is responsible for overall site production operations including: Production, Planning and Procurement, Inventory Management, Delivery and Quality Control. Along with the other members of the Management Team, they will create a work environment which promotes excellence in safety, quality and delivery.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage process and product quality in an AS9100 and ISO1385 environment. Responsible for managing a combined $20M product line of medical device components and passive components for the aerospace, defense, space and industrial markets.
    • Manage and monitor product cost goals. Responsible for P&L analysis in conjunction with the Site Manager. Also responsible for managing product COGS, materials acquisition strategies and application of lean techniques.
    • Assist in managing all operational performance metrics which include Product cost, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Employee relations.
    • Responsible for customer satisfaction by meeting delivery commitments and product quality expectations, participating in customer audits as necessary.
    • Participate in the planning, monitoring and execution of the annual budget.
    • Participate in the bid and pricing process along with the finance and technical sales team.
    • Member of the site management team.

    Skills and Experience

    • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilities in people, product and project management.
    • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • Knowledge and experience in an AS9100 and/or ISO13485 environment and in P&L management.
    • Experience in P&L management
    • Experience in managing costs while driving revenue
    • Proficiency in production management and ERP systems
    • Hands on experience in manufacturing improvement initiatives.
    • Proven people manager, proven team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Compensation
    $120,000-$150,000 per year
