Operations Manager
Under the direction of the Operations Director, the Operations Manager supports all aspects of the company’s daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality of products and service. They are responsible for optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. They support Moxie Bread Co’s strategic goals and have dotted line responsibility for managing teams. This position is headquartered at our Longmont production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
Process Optimization: Identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Resource Management: Managing budgets, resources (including labor and capital), and procurement.
Team Leadership: Supervising, motivating, and mentoring team members to maximize performance.
Quality Control: Ensuring quality control measures are in place and enforced to maintain high standards.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Performance Monitoring: Analyzing performance metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing operational issues promptly and effectively.
Collaboration: Working with other departments to achieve strategic goals.
Supply Chain Management: Managing the flow of materials, information, and resources within the organization.
Inventory Management: Optimizing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing operational budgets, and forecasting future needs.
Human Resources: Hiring, training, and supporting the Operations Director in managing employees.
Customer Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing customer issues.
Cover for Operations Director role when they are absent
Sales and Cost analysis and projection planning
Work closely with Operations Dir on special projects
Skills & Experience:
Experience managing a team of 5 or more, for 5+ years ideally in a similar industry to Moxie Bread Co.
Strong retail operations acumen
Strong understanding of how a business operates and what makes it successful
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing teams and achieving business goals.
Strong communication, team building, and motivational skills.
Knowledge of product recommendations, inventory management, and coordination.
Expert level computer skills, including MS Excel, and all Google Suite.
High level financial skills and acumen
Degree in Business a plus

As the Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of our organization by providing strong leadership, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring excellence in product quality and consistency. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently: Stand for up to 8 hours, walk, bend, reach, crouch, lift up to 20lbs, raise arms above head. See and hear in order to communicate with customers and team members.
Occasionally: Carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders. Be able to perform tasks in a cold environment for up to 15 minutes at a time.

Salary Range: $60k to $75k
