    Operations Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 95k/year - Walkerton, IN

    • Our client, a well-established company with over 75 years of history, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager. This company has a proven track record of growth and remains focused on driving long-term progress.
    • In this role, the Operations Manager will oversee daily production for quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery; drive continuous improvement through Lean and Kaizen; optimize processes with value stream mapping; mentor teams for performance growth; and collaborate across departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily production activities to ensure operations run smoothly.
    • Monitor product quality to make sure everything meets required standards.
    • Track production efficiency to identify and address any bottlenecks or delays.
    • Ensure all products are delivered on schedule to meet customer commitments.
    • Lead continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean and Kaizen principles to reduce waste and improve workflows.
    • Develop and put into action future-state value stream maps to streamline processes and boost overall plant performance.
    • Set clear goals, provide guidance, and mentor team members to help them grow and improve their skills.
    • Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment with company goals.
    • Learn the full scope of plant operations to prepare yourself for stepping into the Plant Manager role.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in production, planning, quality, or related areas
    • Proven skills in leading, coaching, and inspiring teams
    • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing with a history of improving efficiency
    • Comfortable leading teams through change and transitions
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

    Compensation:

    • Base salary up to 95k/year, plus bonus
