We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure every move is executed efficiently, safely, and with excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to keep teams and logistics running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, routing, and crew planning
Lead, coach, and support moving teams to drive performance and customer satisfaction
Quickly resolve operational issues and customer concerns
Oversee fleet, equipment, and supply readiness
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are met
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
3–5 years of operations management experience, preferably in moving, logistics, or transportation
Proven leadership with strong communication and people-management skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with logistics software, fleet management tools, and Microsoft Office
Ability to analyze data and make informed, results-driven decisions
Physically able to assist with moving tasks when needed
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
Full-time availability and commitment required
Must be able to comply with company conflict-of-interest policies, including no involvement in competing moving or transportation businesses
