We’re searching for a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our Janitorial, Day Porter, and Apartment Turnover Cleaning service lines. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for streamlining operations, driving gross profit, maintaining high-quality standards, and developing the systems, people, and processes that make our services stand out. Responsibilities: • Lead, Manage, and Accountable for all facets of janitorial, day porter, and turnover cleaning operations. • Drive P&L performance, maximizing profitability while controlling labor and material costs. • Lead recruitment and management of subcontractors and internal field teams. • Build, document, and continuously improve SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence. • Provide high-touch client service, resolve issues with urgency, and serve as a key relationship builder. • Oversee quality control systems, ensuring all service lines exceed client expectations. • Drive and support sales efforts, contributing to the growth of each service line. • Develop and implement robust training programs for supervisors and field staff. • Maintain compliance with safety, labor, and janitorial industry regulations. • Utilize technology to enhance scheduling, performance tracking, reporting, and client communication. Qualifications: Required • Proven leadership and management experience in service-based industries. • 3–5 years of experience in the cleaning, janitorial, or facilities management industry. • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and gross profit control. • Demonstrated success in subcontractor recruitment and management. • Track record of training program development and implementation. • Proven problem solver and decision maker under pressure. • Strong communication and team-building skills. • Customer service-focused approach and excellent client relationship skills. • Comfortable performing a mix of office tasks, field visits, and client meetings. • Availability for occasional evening or weekend work to support operations or urgent client needs. • Ability to travel to various job sites within the division’s service area. Preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish. • Technologically savvy and able to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly. • Experience with property management or related industries. • Knowledge of janitorial supply chains, hospitality operations, or facilities maintenance. • Sales and business development experience. • Existing book of business or industry contacts. Desired • Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and industry compliance standards. • Experience implementing technology tools for operations (e.g., workforce scheduling, CRM). Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 plus incentives/Bonuses
