    Overview

    The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all logistical, facilities, capital assets, licensing, insurance, data, information technology and procurement needs of the organization. The person in this position should embody Peter Paul’s values and share a passion for the mission.

    Primary Responsibilities

    · Oversees site operations and logistics including transportation

    · Coordinates the maintenance of the facility, vehicles, and other capital assets

    · Ensures that organization policies and procedures comply with all licensing (including Department of Social Services), insurance, confidentiality and security standards

    · Reviews and updates OSHA policies as needed

    · Develops and monitors the Operations budget in partnership with Finance

    · Manages process for ordering supplies and materials for all programs and administration

    · Maintains and manages relationships with external contractors and/or vendors for building maintenance, information technology needs, and any other needs

    · Oversees facility rentals process

    · Ensures that meals are provided for all program participants and in compliance with any nutritional guidelines

    · Direct reports are Operations/Facilities Coordinator, Food and Nutrition/Kitchen Coordinator, transportation staff, custodian, events assistant, and any other support staff. Provides ongoing feedback and valuable and relevant learning and growth opportunities for team members

    · Documents processes and procedures which team is responsible for Position Requirements

    · Experience in facilities operations and managing a team is expected

    · At least two years of experience working in a social service setting or in a childcare setting

    · Bachelor’s degree in management, human services, or administration is preferred

    · Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft 365

    · Familiarity with Department of Social Services licensing requirements a plus

    · Familiarity and comfort with working in an urban setting with diverse populations

    · Must be a team player and possess excellent social and interpersonal skills

    Compensation and Benefits

    This full-time position is expected to be available during business hours, with evening and weekend hours when needed, and reports to the Chief Programs Officer. Benefits available to the employee include a percentage of health, dental, life, and disability insurances, paid vacation and retirement matching. Salary range is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
