    Operations Manager - The Backbone of the Studio $70,000 - $80,000 Base Salary Pride of Place is a boutique Alhambra studio transforming high-end properties into beautifully curated spaces. Our success is built on rigorous systems, accurate bookkeeping, and tight project execution. The designers bring the vision. You bring the discipline. We are looking for someone who takes great pride in the behind-the-scenes work that makes everything else possible — dependable, structured, and focused on keeping the business running without chaos. You are steady, professional, and focused. You do your job, you do it well, and you do not get pulled into the noise. You are someone people are genuinely glad to see walk through the door. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience Benefits: Sick Pay, Vacation, and a contribution to employer-offered medical benefits Hours: 8 am–5 pm, full-time, 40+ hours, with occasional evening flexibility Location: Alhambra, CA (in-office). Every financial detail, every project milestone, every vendor relationship flows through you.Bookkeeping and Financial Management: Daily QuickBooks bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Clean, current, and decision-ready at all times. • Operations and Logistics: Plans change, and timelines shift. You stay calm, adjust fast, and keep momentum going without missing a beat. • Project Management: Contract to completion — billing, staging logistics, and final walkthroughs. Nothing rolls out until it is 100% accurate. • Office Administration and Communications: The connective tissue between clients, vendors, and our team. Every workflow is optimized, and every email that leaves your desk is polished and professional. Qualifications: • 3 or more years of operations or office management experience in a small business or professional services environment — bookkeeping, logistics, contracts, office administration, and team leadership • Strong QuickBooks experience — daily bookkeeping and financial follow-through are non-negotiable • A process-driven mindset — you close loops, catch errors before they happen, and create order out of complexity • Experience with project management software such as Notion, StageForce, or Connecteam • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills — polished, concise, and error-free every time We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
