Operations Manager - Sawmill Plant - Base Salary to 200k/year - Flagstaff, AZ

• Our client is a leader lumber processing facility who is currently going through a massive growth phase. They are the largest, high-capacity sawmill facility in the state.
  
• The team is looking to add an Operations Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of operation including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Capital Execution. This role has a succession plan tied to it to eventually become COO of the sawmill.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all team employees
  
• Assisting with operational leadership and business growth
  
• Adherence to regulatory and environmental compliances
  
• Managing department budgets and tracking KPI's across various departments
  
• Helping to maintain OSHA regulations
  
• Ensure facility equipment is maintained & operating properly to minimize downtime

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Business, Engineering, or related degree
  
• 10+ years working Sawmill/Lumber Processing manufacturing plant or related paper/wood products industry
  
• 5+ years working at Plant Superintendent level or higher; managing multiple departments across numerous shifts
  
• Robust understanding of lumber processing, machinery, and safety protocols
  
• Experience with Ponderosa Pine is a plus
  
• Familiarity with all equipment in sawmill
  
• Lumber grading experience is a plus
  

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 200k/year, plus bonus & relocation assistance if needed. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
