    Soap Lake Natural Spa & Resort, a Dazzler Select by Wyndham property, is seeking a purpose‑driven Operations Manager to help steward our growing wellness destination. In this role, you will partner closely with the COO and ownership to guide daily operations across lodging, cafe, spa, events, and overall guest experience. We’re looking for a leader who brings calm clarity, strong communication, and a genuine passion for creating restorative, memorable stays.     For qualified out‑of‑state candidates, on‑site employee housing may be available for up to three months to support a smooth relocation and transition into the role.

    Responsibilities

    Support the ownership and COO in developing and executing operational strategies that enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall productivity.

    Oversee daily resort and spa operations to ensure full compliance with company policies, Wyndham brand standards, and all safety regulations.

    Train, coach, and support team members to foster professional growth, accountability, and a positive work environment.

    Prepare clear, timely operational reports for leadership review, including updates on staffing, guest experience, and departmental performance.

    Promote a culture grounded in safety, quality, service excellence, and continuous improvement across all areas of the resort.

    Essential Qualifications:

    Background in hotel and resort operations: Experience in the hospitality or spa industry, with a deep understanding of spa treatments, services, and products.

    Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of staff members, including therapists, estheticians, and receptionists.

    Business and Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, payroll management, and analyzing revenue reports. Knowledge of marketing strategies and inventory control is also beneficial.

    Communication and Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer concerns professionally and manage team dynamics effectively.

    Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with local health codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a clean, licensed spa environment.

    Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure, address problems quickly, and implement effective solutions.

    Essential Qualifications

    Hotel, Resort, or Spa Operations Experience Background in hospitality or spa environments with a solid understanding of spa services, guest‑service standards, and operational workflows.

    Leadership & Team Development Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team—including front desk, housekeeping, spa staff, and service providers—while fostering accountability and professional growth.

    Business & Financial Acumen Experience with budgeting, labor management, payroll review, revenue analysis, and inventory control. Familiarity with basic marketing principles and cost‑control strategies is a plus.

    Exceptional Communication & Guest‑Service Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve guest concerns professionally, maintain positive team dynamics, and communicate clearly across departments.

    Health, Safety & Compliance Knowledge Understanding of local health codes, spa licensing requirements, and safety regulations to ensure a clean, compliant, and well‑maintained environment aligned with Wyndham brand standards.

    Adaptability & Problem‑Solving Ability Calm, solutions‑oriented approach with the capacity to respond quickly to operational challenges and implement effective, sustainable improvements.

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
