The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily management and smooth functioning of all gym operations, ensuring a high-quality member experience and efficient use of resources. This role oversees front desk staff, facility maintenance, scheduling, budgeting, vendor relations, and compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities: • Ensure the smooth and professional operation of the health club’s day-to-day functions, including front desk, locker rooms, spa/sauna areas, and common spaces. • Oversee the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of all club facilities and equipment. • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house, housekeeping, and maintenance staff. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to ensure service excellence. • Coordinate regular maintenance and timely repairs of gym equipment, pool, spa, and other facilities. • Maintain accurate records for attendance, maintenance logs, and incident reports. • Generate and present reports on membership trends, operational performance, and member satisfaction. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a health club, fitness center, or hospitality environment. • Proven experience in staff supervision, customer service, and facility management. • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff. • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards for facility cleanliness, safety, and presentation. • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness, and the ability to represent a healthy lifestyle. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
