Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Operations Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the operations team in managing daily logistics activities, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing customer relationships, and supporting various administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.
Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, customer emails, and detailed reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with logistics software and systems is a plus.
